You want to live.
You want to feel free.
To express yourself and be heard and seen for who you are.But you notice a blockage; something is holding you back from fully being who you are.
From fully expressing how you sound.
From fully letting your voice be heard. From letting your heart speak.
I welcome you with open arms, to let yourself be seen and heard in this workshop Voice Liberation.
I invite you to explore what longs to be heard within you, and what may be holding you back from giving it a voice. In a safe and supportive space, where everything that arises is welcome, we will practice together to give voice to that longing.
For some of us, especially as people of color or people with a migration background, making ourselves fully heard and showing all of who we are can sometimes feel complicated. We may have learned to adapt, to hold back certain parts of ourselves, or to make ourselves smaller in order to belong. This workshop invites you to gently explore what happens when you no longer have to leave parts of yourself behind, but can include everything.
Hearing one another, and allowing yourself to be truly heard by others, can be both exciting, a bit scary and deeply healing. You are not alone in the longing to express yourself, and to be fully seen and heard for who you are. You do it yourself, but you don’t have to do it alone. Meeting one another in this space can create connection, recognition and (self)compassion.
Deep down, you know how liberating it can be to take up the space to fully show and express who you are. To let yourself be heard in all your uniqueness. To allow your whole voice to sound, and to live from that wholeness.
From that place, we explore what it means to take your space—not in opposition to others, but in connection with the world around you. To bring all of yourself into the room, to let your voice be part of the collective, and to experience that there is space for you, exactly as you are.
